On April 28, UFCW Canada Local 1006A will join Canadians from coast to coast in remembering those who lost their lives or suffered injury or illness due to their work.
As COVID-19 continues to spread, workers are increasingly wearing gloves to protect against any transmission.
“Just as customers are worried, so are we. But we are out there supporting our communities.” 1006A spoke to grocery workers who provide insight and advice about life on the frontlines.
