UFCW 1006A is pleased to announce we are participating in the Labour of Love campaign, launched by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC). 

Kimberly Campbell knows first-hand the difference the union makes.

Jacqueline Fraser is proud to follow in the footsteps of her father, who was a former steward for UFCW.

After battling leukemia as a young child, Molly has been cancer-free for 10 years. 

Irine Reji was in tears when she found out she won a UFCW 1006A scholarship.

UFCW 1006A is welcoming stewards from across Ontario to our fall Stewards’ Training courses at the union office.

“The majority of the voting population are workers like us, and we want to make sure working-class voices are heard by politicians,” said Emily Boyer, a union steward at the Whitby Superstore.

“It was a fantastic contract and the members voted overwhelmingly for it,” said member Mekonnen Geresin. 

UFCW 1006A members at the Talbot Manor retirement home in St. Thomas have ratified a new union contract.
