Join your union on April 2 in observing World Autism Awareness Day. This day is an opportunity to raise awareness and have a conversation regarding the autism spectrum disorder.
Affecting 70 million people around the world, autism also impacts one in 66 children and youth in Canada. This number continues to grow.
The history of the day goes back to 2008 when the United Nations officially declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day.
