UFCW Canada Local 1006A flags flew high over Brockville as union members, staff and friends marched through the downtown on Saturday, July 16, 2016 for the city’s annual Pride Parade.
The community event started at Brockville Armoury and ended at Hardy Park.
UFCW Canada Local 1006A’s Women’s Issues Network (WIN) Region 3 hosted its first yard sale of the year, raising $1,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. An additional $125 was raised and donated to Red Door Family Shelter, an organization which provides services for families and individuals who need safe and supportive emergency shelter.

It is with great sadness that we report Tony Agostini passed away on Saturday July 9, 2016 at the age of 57. Tony was a beloved union representative with UFCW Canada Local 1006A and was a part of the local union family for more than 36 years.
