UFCW 1006A members at Best Western Plus in Oshawa have achieved a new union contract.
The term of the contract is from November 5, 2024 to November 4, 2027 and covers 21 members.
The negotiating committee included members, Vandana Gangadin and Monica Lewis and Union Representative Dustin Magee.
“I’m proud to congratulate our negotiating committee and our membership for securing a fair union contract with gains,” said President Wayne Hanley.
Highlights Include:
- Wage increases
- Sick days for all members. Three sick days for full-time and one sick day for part-time.
