Kretschmar worker Cartona Marjes is a big fan of Local 1000A’s Members’ Day. With prices going up, it can get quite costly to take the family for a day out.
That’s why she and her family has made a point of taking advantage of coming out for UFCW Canada Local 1000A’s Members’ Day- where discounted tickets to Wonderland and a free lunch was provided courtesy of your union.
UFCW Canada Local 1000A wishes everyone a Happy Labour Day.
We are food and retail workers and we are proud to stand up for fairness and justice for all workers.
Join us on Sept 2 (8:30 a.m.) at the corner of Queen St and University Ave.
UFCW Canada Local 1000A flags flew high at Brockville Pride on July 20, 2013.

Local 1000A Members marched in the annual parade, which began at Brockville Armouries and finished at Hardy Park.
On May 17, I encourage you to join me in showing your support for our brothers and sisters in the LGBTQ community by marking the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia.
May 17 is a significant date for many around the world as on that day in 1990, the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from its list of mental disorders. It was a key milestone for the LGBTQ community around the world. In 2004, May 17 was officially established as the International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia. Today, the day is observed in countries all over the world.
