Below, member Marc Visca speaks about the cutbacks to public services that Ontarians and their families depend on.
Under Premier Doug Ford, public education has suffered.
Experts say public schools received billions less in 2024 than they did in 2018, when Premier Ford first came into power. This means schools received $1,500 less per student last year compared to 2018.
In addition, lack of sufficient funding is hurting our universal health care system, with emergency room closures, long wait times, and lack of family doctors. With housing and food costs skyrocketing, join Ontarians in advocating for those running for elected office to tackle the affordability crisis in Ontario.

"To me, the most important part of this election is the revival of our public services.
From education to healthcare, the current government has undermined and underspent for far too long, and the most vulnerable have paid the price.
We have watched billions and billions of our money be spent on scandals and personal projects, landmarks torn apart against our very pleas and yet no progress for everyday Ontarians has been made to better our lives.
Ford has proven that our interests aren't on his agenda and his rich buddies are the only ones he's taking care of.
It's extremely important to get out and vote because this government only won with less than half of our population going out to vote. If we want change for the better, we need to get out and vote for it or else we will be locked into another four years of lies, scandals and wasted tax dollars.”
