UFCW 1006A members at Chapters in Woodbridge have voted to ratify a new union contract.
The term of the agreement is from June 3, 2023 to June 2, 2025 and covers 30 members.
“Our negotiating committee worked hard to achieve significant gains for our membership at Chapters,” said President Wayne Hanley. “UFCW 1006A is proud of our strong record of helping unionized bookstore workers across Ontario secure improvements and build fairer workplaces.”
The negotiating committee included members, Gail Harvey, Matteo Mazzone and Union Representatives Joe Blythe and Greg Sibley.
This is the second contract achieved by members at this store.
