Workers at Courtyard by Marriott Markham have ratified a new union contract with several gains.
“The contract is great,” said Dave Ramnarine, who was on the negotiations committee. “All the workers seem quite happy. The union negotiators did a great job. I am grateful with the amount of money we gained—it boosts us, gives us a drive to keep working hard and be positive.”
The term of the union contract is from February 6, 2022 to February 5, 2025 and covers 25 workers.
