1006A members at Rowland’s YIG have ratified a new union contract with several gains.
“I’m proud to congratulate our members at Rowland’s YIG for their solidarity and support in achieving a fair union contract,” said President Wayne Hanley. “Once again, 1006A is showing why we remain the best union for grocery workers across Ontario.
Negotations were led by Union Rep Kevin Bacon, with support from Regional Director Brian Reid, and members, Matt Fair and Erin Fenton.
Members at Rowland’s YIG work in a variety of positions, including grocery clerks, meat cutters, cashiers, HMR and other food service workers.
