UFCW Canada Local 1006A was proud to join masqueraders and revellers at the Toronto Caribbean Carnival’s 49th Annual Grand Parade on July 30.
“Our participation at Caribana is about celebrating the incredible diversity of our membership and our communities,” said President Wayne Hanley. “We are thrilled to once again be part of this important community event which showcases the rich culture and traditions of many of our members.”
Started in 1967, the Toronto Caribbean Carnival started on July 5 and featured a series of events which culminated with the Grand Parade.
Local 1006A is proud to be a long-time supporter of Louis Saldenah mas camp, which had a “Outta Africa” theme this year.
