Wages, benefits and working conditions are at stake and your support and participation is critical to achieve a fair deal.
At these meetings, you will be provided an update on negotiations and will have the opportunity to vote on a strike mandate. A strike mandate is needed to make it clear to the company that we are united and we will stand strong and fight hard for a fair deal.

Local 1000A members, activists and staff will come together on April 28, 2015 to mark the Day of Mourning and remember workers injured, killed or ill due to unsafe conditions at work.
On this day, we keep these workers close to our hearts and resolve to do what we can to prevent such incidents.

By wearing red, participants illustrate the vast pay gap that exists between women and men in the province. The Equal Pay Coalition reports that the average annual earnings of all women in the province is 31.5 per cent less than men.
On April 8, 2015, join your union in taking a stand against bullying, discrimination, homophobia and transphobia in our schools, workplaces and communities by participating in the International Day of Pink.

We hope you can show your support against bullying, discrimination and homophobia and transphobia by observing the day and/or wearing pink.
