Union members are at the forefront of standing up for equality and fairness in our workplaces and our communities.
That's why this Pride Season, your union will be participating in Pride events across Ontario.
These events include: Kingston Pride (Saturday, June 13), Toronto Pride (Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28), London Pride (Sunday, July 19), and Ottawa Pride (Sunday, August 30).
DETAILS FOR TORONTO PRIDE: 1006A will be participating in the Trans March on Friday, June 26 commencing at 7:30 p.m. on Church Street.
On Saturday, June 27, our information booth will be located on Church Street (between McGill and Gerrard Streets) and the Dyke March will start around 1:00 p.m. at Church Street and Hayden Street.
On Sunday, June 28, the Parade will be held in the afternoon. Otherwise, marchers are encouraged to make their way to Alymer and Yonge Street to meet up with our contingent for 2:20 p.m.
