2024 was a strong year for our local union, from negotiating fair contracts to organizing new workplaces.
We expect 2025 to be another busy year of achievements. We are committed to protect and improve our members' rights, to help injured workers seek justice and to be relentless advocates for workers and their families.
We are excited for the year ahead, beginning with our general membership telephone town hall on January 14, 2025 at 7 p.m. Listen for the latest union news and for the opportunity to win a Samsung Tablet or a pair of Toronto Maple Leaf tickets.
Your union offers many great opportunities to get involved. This includes taking free courses through UFCW Canada's webCampus platform, a dynamic online education program for all members.
You could apply for a union scholarship for yourself and/or dependants. If you are a steward, you can participate in spring Stewards Training to help better resolve issues on the shop floor. Getting involved can transform your life.
