UFCW 1006A members at Telepartners Call Centre (formerly CCGC) have ratified their first union contract.

The term of the contract is from June 11, 2024 to June 10, 2027 and covers 26 members. 

The negotiating committee includes member, Lindsie Shears, Organizing Director Lesley Prince and Union Representative Joe Blythe.

"UFCW 1006A is proud to congratulate our members at Telepartners on their new union contract,” said President Wayne Hanley. “Our negotiating committee worked hard to prevent concessions and made significant gains and protections for our members. This first union contract provides a strong foundation to build on for the future.”

This is the second Telepartners bargaining unit represented by UFCW 1006A.

Highlights

- Wage increases
- Increase to personal days
- Two paid 15 minute breaks per shift
- Employer will pay 75 per cent of the cost of the benefit premiums
- Language to protect members from traumatic callers
