On June 8, UFCW 1006A members, staff and allies took to the streets of Brockville to participate in the city’s annual Pride event.
Brockville Pride is the first event of 1006A’s pride season.
UFCW is participating in Toronto Pride from June 28 to 30, London Pride on July 21 and Ottawa’s Capital Pride on August 25.
"UFCW 1006A is proud to support our members in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community through our participation in Pride events across Ontario,” said President Wayne Hanley. “I want to thank all of our members and allies who marched in Brockville Pride for participating with our union and helping build a fairer and more equal world for all.”
