UFCW 1006A members working at Cintas Canada Ltd have ratified a new union contract.
The contract term is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026 and covers 277 members at seven plants across Ontario. including in Toronto, Cambridge, Windsor, London, Hamilton and Barrie.
“Union representation empowers members to transform their working conditions and lives,” said President Wayne Hanley. “The solidarity and participation of our members at Cintas were instrumental in achieving a fair union contract. I am also proud of our negotiating committee, which worked hard to ensure members’ voices were heard.”
The negotiating committee included members, Paul Goberdhan, Eugene Ho, Florence Owusuaa, David Peach, Wilma Thomson and Union Representatives, Joe Blythe, Kallisha Hoyes, Jonathan Lobo, Greg Penner and Joshua Robichaud.
