Here is Christine's story:
"In some respects, my story is going to be the same as many of my colleagues. I went to work. I came home. I went to work. Rinse, lather, repeat.
Many COVID-related products are in my department, Health & Wellness, so I became creative at getting stock. Which provided something to focus on beyond the virus.
When hand sanitizer supplies were dwindling, I ordered cases of isopropyl alcohol and aloe vera gel, so people could make their own.
Aside from work, the isolation was tough. You can connect virtually, but talking on the phone just isn’t the same as hanging out in someone’s backyard or going to a movie. OMG, going to a movie seems so dreamy right now.
Working beside the pharmacy, I see the stress around COVID starting to lift – people’s smiling and relieved faces after they get their jab. I’m fully vaccinated and really grateful."
