Greg's union activism began while working as a political staffer on Parliament Hill. During this time, he got involved in his local union, UFCW 232, which represents the staff of the federal NDP caucus. He took on a variety of roles with UFCW 232’s executive board before eventually serving as Local 232 President. He has a BA from the University of Toronto and an MA from Goldsmiths, University of London.
In 2024, Greg started working at Local 1006A as a Union Representative. He takes pride in finding solutions to challenging workplace problems and ensuring that union members' rights are respected on the job.
