Every Labour Day, Maria Bocangel makes a point of bringing along co-workers and family members to march through the streets of downtown Toronto.
After winning unionization early this spring, 1006A members at NexCycle Guelph have ratified their first union contract.
Lino Cabral is a difference-maker, helping make the lives of his co-workers better through his work as a 1006A Steward.
"For me, union is everything. It’s important for us to continue the fight and to trust the union – it’s a movement that lifts people up." Maria hopes future generations take up the torch passed on by current and past activists.
