Caitlyn's Entry: "My union, UFCW Canada Local 1000A, has made a difference in my life, it has given me comfort and stability for the past four years while working at the Real Canadian Superstore. This year was a difficult time for my family and I as we lost both of my grandfathers less than 5 months apart. This challenging time was made easier by the bereavement time I was able to receive. The union ensured that I would not have to worry about losing a job that I rely on to pay for my schooling. The protection and job security the union has provided me has made the process easier and I could not be more thankful for the hard work they put in to ensure employees like myself are treated fairly and given the necessary time to grieve."
