Come out and celebrate the accomplishments that workers have struggled for and achieved over the years. Local 1000A encourages all its members and their families to partake in Labour Day activities within the communities where they live and work.
Local 1000A will have a formal presence at the Labour Day Parade in downtown Toronto and Sarnia, as well as the Labour Day Picnic in London.
TORONTO
Where: Southeast Corner of University Avenue & Queen Street (Look for the gold UFCW Canada flags)
When: September 5, 2011. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. (March will commence at 9:30 a.m.)
All Labour Day Parade participants will receive free access to the CNE grounds following the parade. Family and friends welcome to attend. Hosted by the Toronto and York Region Labour Council.
LONDON
Where: Thames Park (15 Rideout Street South, London, Ontario)
When: September 5, 2011. Begins at Noon.
Free food and fun for the whole family! Hosted by the London District Labour Council.
SARNIA
Where: Corner of Queen and Johnston
When: September 5, 2011. Begins at 9:30am.
