UFCW 1006A members at K-Bro Linen have voted to accept a new contract.
“Most people were happy with the wage increases,” said Manjit Multani, a member of the negotiating committee. “I was happy - it’s a good deal.”
The term of the contract is from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2028 and covers 188 workers.
“We are proud of the hard work and dedication of our negotiating committee, who achieved a fair union contract with wage gains for our membership at K-Bro Linen,” said President Wayne Hanley. “Union representation provides workers with greater strength and ability to create positive changes in their workplace.”
The negotiating committee consists of member Manjit Multani, Union Representative Joshua Robichaud and Executive Assistant to the President, Frank Ragni.
